[Description]
This is a Japanese-made reproduction part designed as a direct replacement for the discontinued OEM part (153188).
The fuel pump support (gasket/rubber mount) holds and cushions the pump in place while remaining fully submerged in fuel at all times. Over time, the original rubber hardens, cracks, or disintegrates due to fuel exposure and age.
This reproduction uses HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), a high-performance compound with excellent resistance to modern premium unleaded fuel, heat, and vibration — ensuring long-lasting durability.
This part is designed for use with E5 or lower ethanol-blend fuel (standard premium unleaded in Japan, most of Europe, Middle East, and Australia).
Not recommended for E10 fuel environments (common in the United States and some parts of Europe), as prolonged exposure to higher ethanol concentrations may cause swelling or degradation of the rubber over time.
[Notes]
・Not compatible with 60mm diameter fuel pumps.
・Can also be used when replacing with a 52mm type pump.
