[Description] This is a genuine Maserati / Ferrari thermostat and O-ring (gasket) set. The O-ring required for replacement is included, so no separate sourcing is needed.
A faulty thermostat prevents the engine from maintaining the correct operating temperature, leading to the following symptoms: ・Overcooling: The thermostat remains stuck open, causing coolant to circulate continuously and preventing the engine from reaching optimal temperature. ・Overheating: The thermostat remains stuck closed, stopping coolant circulation and causing the engine to overheat. In severe cases, this can result in engine seizure.
Depending on stock availability, the part may be supplied as either Maserati genuine or Ferrari genuine. The part itself is identical. Please contact us if you have a preference.
