The rubber gasket on the underside of the cap deteriorates over time, causing a loss of sealing performance within a few years. If you notice oil seeping around the cam cover area, a degraded cap may be the cause. Consider replacing if you experience any of the following: ・Oil seeping around the cam cover area ・Cracking or hardening of the rubber gasket on the underside of the cap ・Routine replacement of the oil filler cap
